Are you passionate about property management and ensuring homes meet the highest compliance standards?
Bayleys Whanganui is seeking a Property & Compliance Coordinator for a 12-month fixed-term role, starting in January 2025. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to both the day-to-day management of residential properties and oversee compliance of the Healthy Homes standards across our entire portfolio.
About the Role: As the Property & Compliance Coordinator, you will:- Manage a small portfolio of residential properties, ensuring excellent service to both landlords and tenants.
- Oversee Healthy Homes compliance for all properties, ensuring they meet government requirements for heating, insulation, ventilation, moisture control, and more.
- Liaise with landlords, tenants, and contractors to coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and compliance upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance status, track deadlines, and provide regular updates to the team and property owners.
- Advise and support the wider property management team on compliance-related matters, helping to keep everyone informed and up to date with legislative changes.
Key Skills & Attributes:- Experience in property management is advantageous, but not essential.
- Knowledge of Healthy Homes compliance standards is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with property owners, tenants, and contractors.
- Attention to detail to track compliance across multiple properties and ensure deadlines are met.
- Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
- Tech-savvy, adaptable to using a range of software programs and maintaining digital records.
- Minimum of a restricted driver's license required for this role.
