We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Office Junior to join our team in Christchurch.
This role involves supporting day-to-day office operations and assisting with financial tasks. While prior experience is not required, familiarity with Xero is a plus. The ideal candidate need to possess excellent communication and organisational skills and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee Xero for financial tasks.
Handle accounts-related emails and phone calls.
Monitor and code bills to the correct projects or jobs.
Process monthly bill payments and perform payment reconciliations.
Oversee payroll management and ensure timely payment entries.
Complete account and company forms and manage credit control.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company finances and projects.
Exhibit strong verbal and computer skills for daily communication.
You will need:
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude.
Familiarity with Xero is an advantage but not necessary.
