Pace Power & Air Ltd is a privately owned, family run business, based in New Plymouth, with a Branch in Hamilton. The company represents several prominent international agencies, including the New Zealand distributorship for market leading JCB Power Products (Generators), Kaeser Compressors and Karcher Cleaning Equipment. We require the services of an Electrical Service Technician (Registered Electrician) to join our New Plymouth based team.
The successful candidate will hold a New Zealand Electrical Workers practicing licence, along with a proven track record in the industry.
The workload is varied and interesting combining electrical & mechanical activities, and will be conducted in both the workshop and on customer sites.
Typical tasks will include:- Fault finding & repairs to power generation (AC & DC)
- Repairs & maintenance on compressed air equipment
- Servicing & repairs on commercial cleaning equipment
- Electrical testing & tagging
- Installing electrical sockets & wiring up power leads
- New equipment installations
- Reconfiguring & testing of generator alternators
- Electrical / Mechanical maintenance & servicing
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with three phase & single phase industrial electrical equipment, excellent diagnostic skills, and will be able to work both independently and in a team environment. A full clean Class 1 Drivers licence is essential.
Product training will be provided, along with a friendly and supportive team of technicians and management supporting the role.
