An opportunity has arisen in our Hamilton, Waikato Branch for a Yard Assistant/Delivery Driver. The hours are 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Daily duties will be split between being in the yard or in the truck depending on the business needs. This is a busy branch servicing the wider Waikato district where no 2 days are the same.
Key Responsibilities:- Cleaning and minor maintenance of machines
- Responsible for delivery and collection of machines
- Provide machine inductions to hirers upon delivery
- Ensure the vehicles you are responsible for are kept in a clean and tidy condition at all times (when practical)
- Maintaining yard and surrounding area as requested.
- Interacting with clients entering the yard, to collect/return machines.
- Provide dispatch and booking assistance if required.
Applicants will need:- Drivers License - Class 2 minimum; Class 4 advantageous
- Mechanical Ability
- Silver Card / IPAF - training provided
- Experience in transporting machinery
- Basic computer literacy
