Our business is based in Hornby, Christchurch and manufactures and sells commercial office furniture.
An exciting opportunity is currently on offer to join our small close-knit team as a Delivery Driver.
This is an entry level position, ideal for someone keen on learning some practical skills. Full training will be given in our methods and practices with the opportunity to gain some joinery/cabinet making skills as part of your role.
Ideal skills and attributes:- Fit, enthusiastic & self-motivated

- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- Possess a high level of fitness as the work can be physically demanding
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills
- Take pride in their appearance and looking after vehicles in use, plant and equipment
- Possess a clean current driver's licence and be confident driving a manual vehicle
This position is responsible for providing quick, efficient, friendly delivery services, with some maintenance and repair services of furniture items. You will be responsible for the care, cleanliness and professional representation of our delivery vehicles. The role will require some flexibility in work hours and you may be required to assist in our factory at times. You will need to have a good understanding of health and safety (training will be given), and be responsible for maintaining a safe and tidy work environment on and off site.
