Become a part of our growing team meeting the needs of the commercial and recreational sectors of the marine industry.
We have positions available for skilled marine fitter or fitter welder or industrial fitters with required experience in the areas of systems installation and fitting on both new build and refit work.
Successful applicants will report to the engineering supervisor and have duties which typically include:- New engineering systems installation.
- Assessment and servicing of marine components.
- Maintenance and/or installation of engine, driveline and steering systems.
- Fabrication of system and driveline components.
- Piping, tubing and hose work.
Applicants should:- Have good communication skills in spoken and written English.
- Work well in a team environment and be capable of self-managing tasks.
- Be self-motivated and have a high standard of workmanship.
- Must have own tool kit.
- Currently reside in New Zealand and have NZ citizenship or residency.
McMullen and Wing is an established Auckland shipyard with extensive experience in commercial, recreational and luxury vessel build and refit projects:- Located in Mt Wellington, close to Sylvia Park mall.

The role is full-time working a minimum 40-hour week paying a competitive rate based on experience, plus an annual tool allowance and overtime.
