    Now we are on the lookout for a new member to join our close-knit and supportive team as a Landscape Construction Foreman. This role will involve working Monday - Friday, with varied start and finish times dependant on site location.

    Our sites of work are located throughout the Central Otago and Queenstown Lakes District regions, with yards based in Cromwell and Arrowtown. For more seamless integration, we encourage applicants residing in the Central Otago area, which serves as our primary base location.

    This position requires someone who has a minimum of 3 years' landscaping, building, or construction experience, as well as the ability to act as a site foreman.

    Construction Tasks
    All areas of landscaping, but not limited to:

    Hard Landscaping:
    • Paving (natural stone & pre-cast concrete)
    • Retaining walls
    • Concrete laying
    • Stone and mortar work
    • Timber constructions
    • Irrigation and drainage
    • Large pond and water feature installation
    • Machinery operation - Bobcat, small & medium tip trucks, small diggers
    Soft Landscaping:
    • Planting
    • Bark mulch application
    • Lawn preparation and laying of ready lawn
    • Landscape maintenance (spraying, weeding, pruning, mowing)
    • Plant knowledge and care
    Foreman Tasks:
    • To act as overall site foreman alongside your team for an assigned landscape job
    • To oversee your onsite team to ensure they are working to agreed methods, specifications, time-frames, and budgets
    • In conjunction with Operations Manager/Managing Director, liaise with clients which encompasses managing client queries relative to a project, answering questions in regards to client project expectations, and assisting to manage implementation of client's requested changes
    • Oversee the weekly completion of your team's administration reporting including timesheets, site reports, and order documentation
    • Provide forward planning management in respect to all required site resources, including but not limited to machinery, products, and human resources
    • Identify potential business leads and provide details where appropriate to Operations Manager/Managing Director
    • Mentoring and development of all junior site staff, and support of other Site Foreman where they are not the main Foreman of a job
    • To manage all site Health & Safety requirements
