Executive Laundry is an industrial linen hire business that services Hotels, Motels, and Private Hospitals throughout the Wellington region. We are very automated, processing thousands of kgs of linen per day.
We're currently looking for Driver to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Collection of dirty linen from customers
Unloading dirty linen from vehicles to the laundry and placing dirty linen in the designated inbound goods area
Locating linen in the designated outbound goods area for delivery
Loading clean linen to vehicles and delivering clean laundry to customers
Assisting in laundry operations as and when required
Always driving courteously and safely in accordance with company procedure, NZ traffic regulations and manufacturers guidelines
Always employing safe lifting and linen handling practices to prevent injuries
This opportunity would suit someone with a good level of physical fitness and previous experience working in a delivery driving role (a minimum of 6 months).
You'll also need:
A Full Clean Class 1 or Class 2 Licence
To pass a pre-employment background check
To pass a pre-employment/ongoing drug test
A reliable and honest work ethic
A professional, respectful and courteous manner
The ability to listen to feedback and follow instructions
Good attention to detail and the ability to meet quality standards
A clean and tidy personal appearance
Good English communication skills
The ability to work in harmony with people for all walks of life
To be punctual and flexible
We are a family owned business that value our staff and and have a great working environment with very low staff turnover.
This is a full time position working a minimum of 35 hours per week, however as we are a 7-day operation, you must be available for weekend rostered work.
