    We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Working Foreman to join our team.

    The Working Foreman role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of a construction site, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Additionally, they will also be expected to be involved with hands-on work on some smaller projects.

    Key responsibilities include:
    • Site Setup: Coordinate site logistics, safety, security, and public appearance, including signage.
    • Project Management: Manage daily site operations, ensuring work aligns with plans, specifications, and safety requirements.
    • Subcontractor Coordination: Negotiate small subcontractor and supply prices, obtain competitive quotes, and select subcontractors.
    • Programming and Scheduling: Develop and update project schedules, prepare weekly programmes, and ensure milestones are met.
    • Documentation and Quality Control: Ensure all work follows contract documents, drawings, and quality assurance processes. Monitor subcontractors' quality and health & safety performance.
    • Materials and Procurement: Order materials, manage inventory, and oversee material deliveries.
    • Financial Oversight: Approve invoices, manage subcontractor payments, and handle variations.
    • Meetings and Communication: Organise weekly meetings with subcontractors, liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders, and ensure clear communication across the team.
    • Compliance and Completion: Ensure all work complies with regulations, apply for building compliance, and manage the completion process to secure practical and final completion.
    The Working Foreman must prioritise timely project completion, quality control, safety, and efficient resource management, while maintaining strong communication with all involved parties.

    Our ideal candidate will have:
    • 2+ years' experience in a similar Foreman or Site Management role
    • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
    • Excellent organisation skills and be calm under pressure  
    • A full drivers license
    • Be a team player and efficient problem solver
