We are a locally family owned Fabrication / Engineering company, with a traditional focus on light to medium metal fabrication and site installation.
We specialise in:- All metal types - Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Steel, Corten, Brass, and Copper.
- Fabricating and Constructing - Bespoke Metalwork, Balustrades, Handrails, Sheet Metal Work, Lift Reveals, Light Structural Steel, Flashings, and General Engineering.
We're currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Management team working in Wellington and the surrounding suburbs.
Our ideal applicant will ideally have 3+ years experience in Metalwork Fabrication, Stainless Steel or Aluminium Balustrade/Joinery.
You will also need to demonstrate:- Experience working on construction and residential sites
- Confidence with site measuring and able to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
- A Full NZ Drivers Licence
- Excellent organisation, planning and time management skills
- Clear and fluent communication skills (written and verbal)
- The ability to lead and train others to deliver top quality
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:- Leading & assisting the site team to maintain an effective working relationship with the client through the use of on going communication and proactive construction management.
- Leading and promoting a proactive health and safety conscious culture.
- Assisting the Project Leads to ensure quality documentation is completed and requirements are met in order to attain and retain contractual requirements.
- Assisting the Project Leads to ensure all Health & Safety is prepared, submitted on time, and completed
- Assisting in the tender submissions and processes.
- Assisting the Contract Manager in updating organisational policies
- Develop a Company Programme and Schedule, ensuring it is up to date, regularly reviewed, and getting all staffs input of the companies contractual timing requirements

This is a full-time position working 45-50 hours per week, 5 days per week.
