Purpose for the role - To be efficient in overall pricing effectiveness and protecting gross profit
Key Responsibilities & Duties:- Estimating & Procurement
- Tender pricing, management, and analysis
- Request initial quotes for subcontractors and materials prior to job starting
- Assist with pricing any variations throughout the job
- Setting up job cost trackers/sending out purchase orders
- Track each job's budget in their corresponding cost tracker & weekly reporting to Director for on job budget.
- Keeping up to date with current pricing and requirements in the industry
- Look for ways to streamline and improve processes
- Client management
- Ensuring profitable outcomes for projects
Attributes & Qualifications:- 7+ years' post-qualification local experience (commercial and/or residential)
- Relevant professional qualification, e.g. Quantity Surveying degree
- Outgoing personality with an ability to relate to others
