  • Shorecare Urgent Care are on the lookout for a superstar to assist their management team in the role of Facilities & Administration Co-ordinator.

    We require someone proactive, friendly, highly motivated, with a can do approach to join our team.

    Who are we?

    Shorecare are proud to have been caring for the North Shore and Rodney community for over 50 years. We specialise in injuries and illnesses that require urgent attention ensuring that patients can access healthcare when they need it. Shorecare operates two walk-in clinics, both open 7 days a week year-round, Greville Road 8am-8pm, and Smales Farm 24 hours. We have a strong focus on building a team of likeminded, patient focused individuals who want to make a positive impact on the community.

    Why you?

    You will ideally have Medtech 32 or Evolution experience and have an understanding of an Urgent Care setting.
    You can multi task with the best of them and handle whatever curveballs the day throws your way. No two days are the same here at Shorecare so having the ability to use initiative and be a quick thinker is critical.

    You're a people person who doesn't become flustered. Someone who can remain calm whilst arranging to call the plumber, help the Doctor print his notes or type up some "how to sheets" for the team! Liaising with all our contractors / suppliers, you have a can do attitude and will be the go to person for our over 90 staff for any facility or IT issues.

    You will learn the ins and outs of all systems across our two facilities so you need to be comfortable with IT and able to communicate any problems or change requests to external parties. We'll also need you to create processes and technical documents that are easy to follow for non-tech savvy folk.

    You'll have great resilience, as in urgent care,we know that you'll be faced with some challenging situations, but our management team are here to support you at all times.

    This is a full time role based at our Greville Road clinic, with one day a week working at our Smales Farm clinic and one day from home.

    An element of on call is required in conjunction with the rest of the team.

    The role:
    • Managing our Medtech Evolution and electronic registration system
    • Acting as the initial contact for all IT support for our staff (we have a dedicated external IT provider for those difficult issues!). Training will be given for this if required.
    • Point of contact for contractors, service providers and tenants
    • Acting as the point of contact for staff for nonmedical equipment and supplies issues. Includes ensuring appropriate stock levels and appropriate supply of equipment
    • Administration superstar!
