    • Hunting & Fishing North Canterbury are on the hunt for a new part-time team member to assist us with weekend work.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a vibrant and energetic salesperson who has an interest in general outdoor pursuits and is looking to take their career to the next level.

    We pride ourselves on our strong product knowledge, outstanding customer service, and genuine interest in all things to do with the outdoors, including fresh and salt water fishing, diving, hunting, camping and clothing. We need someone who believes in our products and can relate to our customers!

    Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
    • Previous experience in a retail environment
    • Have a confident, friendly, and professional manner
    • High standard of personal presentation
    • Well organised, proactive and able to forward plan
    • Can take instruction and constructive feedback
    • Switched on and responsible
    Having previous experience in retail and using Advanced Retail would be an advantage, however not essential. The applicant should ideally have a current firearms licence, but if not you will have to be willing and able to obtain one.

    This is a part-time position whereby hours will be weekends, but you will be flexible about occasional week work and public holidays if required.
