    Courtesy Ford is a large independent Ford Dealer with branches in both Palmerston North and Feilding, serving the needs of Manawatu and Horowhenua motorists since 1936.

    This is a seldom opportunity to join part of our senior management team, and as such, we are searching for a highly motivated person who has a track record of successful sales performance and a proven natural ability to lead.

    Responsibilities:
     
    The Branch Manager is responsible for ensuring all 5 departments meet and exceed targets for New and Used Vehicle Sales, Finance, Parts and Service:
    • Lead the branch to meet and exceed sales goals while boosting profitability.
    • Oversee trade-ins and prepare vehicles to meet our high-quality standards.
    • Responsible for writing all vehicle finance and meeting the Departments Targets & KPI's
    • Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
    • Work with marketing to create effective merchandising and promotions.
    • Extensive technical background with management training
    • Strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees, suppliers and Manufactures
    • Can maintain the profitability of their departments while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction
    • Overseeing all service department personnel, managing workloads as well as monitoring their performance in servicing customers, working with and supporting the Group Service manager.
    • Creating goals and objectives for the department, marketing plans in conjunction with the sales manager and IT manager to promote new and repeat business
    • Encouraging all staff to keep their skills up-to-date through periodic training on new systems, products and components offered by the automotive manufacturers
    • Keeping up-to-date on manufacturer warranty and policy procedures while serving as a liaison with the factory representatives
    • Maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction as measure by the manufacture
    • Process new and used vehicle deals and associated paperwork.
    • Processing of all vehicle incentive and fleet receipts.
    • Effective and accurate credit control and associated tasks.
    • Prompt follow up on all vehicle debtors.
    Skills and Experience:
    • Experience in a Management role or similar
    • Experience of 3 years or more in the Automotive Industry
    • Knowledge of the magix operating system (would be an advantage)  
    • Intermediate level MS Office skills (Word, Excel & Outlook).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Confidence working unsupervised and able to use initiative.
    • Excellent time management skills.
