Portage Cars Ltd is one of NZ's leading used vehicle dealer groups, with over 600 vehicles available for sale at 8 branches NZ Wide. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Branch Manager to join our team.
You'll have a proven automotive management background, with a results driven track record and the character to nurture a winning culture. A strong focus on customer service, combined with the drive to deliver on profitability and sales, as well as the ability to upskill and manage a sales team, will be important for success in this role.
This role is not for the faint-hearted, it requires someone that is willing to roll their sleeves up and enjoy the success that working smart and hard will bring. Customer satisfaction at Portage Cars is a priority so the ability to understand our customers and their needs is paramount.
To succeed in this role you'll have:- A strong background in the automotive industry (with particular focus on sales and sales management).
- The ability to make things happen in a fast paced retail environment.
- An entrepreneurial spirit - be capable of growing a business by utilising your skills and those of the team you lead.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor and inspire those around you.
- The ability to contribute to a progressive and successful group culture.
- Strong numerical skills and an understanding of business finances.
