Kerry Drainage & Civil is one of Auckland's most experienced and capable infrastructure drainage contractors with long-term proven capability in undertaking and managing civil construction works in the Auckland region.
Are you a skilled and motivated Drainage Foreman ready to lead a dynamic team? At Kerry Drainage & Civil, we specialise in stormwater and sewer separations, upgrades, extensions, and network repairs for Auckland Council and Watercare. Our expert teams tackle a variety of projects, including open cut, directional drilling, and microtunnelling.
Our ideal applicant will have:- 5+ years of experience in drainage or related operating roles.
- Experience leading a team is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with directional drilling is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Confined Space and WTR certifications are required.
- A Class 2 license would be an advantage (but not mandatory).
- Registration as a drainlayer is not required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of experienced drainage labourers to successfully execute project works.
- Safely operate diggers (5-24t), including safely digging around and exposing underground services.
- Operate drilling machinery and other essential plant equipment.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to uphold quality standards and meet project timelines.
- Maintain accurate Site Daily Diaries and facilitate engaging toolbox talks.
