We are a locally family owned Fabrication / Engineering company, with a traditional focus on light to medium metal fabrication and site installation.
We specialise in:- All metal types - Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Steel, Corten, Brass, and Copper.
- Fabricating and Constructing - Bespoke Metalwork, Balustrades, Handrails, Sheet Metal Work, Lift Reveals, Light Structural Steel, Flashings, and General Engineering.
We're looking for a Balustrade & Handrail Fabricator / Installer to join our team working in Wellington and the surrounding suburbs. Our ideal applicant will be an experienced or aspiring team leader who delivers products on time and to a high standard. We want clients left impressed by our level of expertise and service.
Your responsibilities will include:- Accurately site measuring projects
- Co-ordinating with our Detailer to issue shop drawings
- Fabricate and/or lead fabrication
- Install and/or lead installation
- Attend site co-ordination meetings
- Health & Safety documentation for site duration
- QA documentation
To be considered for this role, you'll need to have a minimum of 3 years' metalwork fabrication or aluminium balustrade/joinery experience. A full NZ driver's license is essential.
Other skills and abilities required:- Confidence with site measuring with the ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
- Experience with measuring equipment, saws, drills, CNC, power tools, and hand tools
- Ability to train others to fabricate and safely use fabrication & assembly machine tools
- A passion to deliver top quality products and finishing
- Good communication, planning, and time management

This is a full-time position working 45-50 hours per week, 5-6 days per week.
