Buddy Mortgages is a boutique residential lending advisory firm in Royal Oak. It boasts a team of three highly qualified mortgage advisers and an in-house risk adviser. Buddy's clients are based throughout New Zealand and range from first-home buyers to seasoned investors.
We're currently looking for a Client Services Manager to join our dynamic team.
While having relevant qualifications or experience in lending in NZ or overseas would be an advantage, we're also keen to hear from motivated individuals who are interested in building a career in our dynamic industry.
Main duties and responsibilities include:- Prepare home loan applications for submission to lenders for a successful outcome.
- Obtain approval from the banks and negotiate the best possible terms and conditions.
- Update customers on the progress of the lending applications and assist in answering any queries from the lenders.
- Ensure all home loan applications meet internal and external compliance requirements.
- Learn the lending criteria of different lenders and apply them to customer lending needs.
- Re-fix client's home loans and management of existing buddy clients.
- Maintenance and compliance work related to insurance clients.
To be considered you will need:- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- A friendly personality and desire to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to forge strong relationships with customers and peers.
- Multitasking and attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn and be able to pick things up quickly.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
Current registration as a Financial Adviser or pursuing a National Certificate in Financial Services - Level 5 in the Lending Strand will be an advantage, but not mandatory.
