    Founded in 1966 by Sir Colin Giltrap, we are one of New Zealand's largest automotive groups with 18 brands spanning 20 sites. In addition to the retail division, the Giltrap Group also has vehicle importer, rental car, vehicle finance, and leasing interests.

    What you'll do

    As the Polestar Specialist, you will consistently deliver an educational, immersive, and exciting experience to all current and future customers. You will be a brand advocate, supporting Polestar's mission by creating memorable experiences for Space visitors.

    You will also:
    • Provide a tailored experience based upon customers' specific interests and schedule
    • Educate and inspire customers by being a product expert
    • Turn curiosity into interest by introducing people to the exciting vehicles and services that Polestar offers
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers
    • Schedule test drives and follow up on the customers, walking them through the purchasing journey
    • Act as a role model of Polestar's culture and behaviours

    Your experience

    To be successful in this role, you will have an eagerness to learn and have passion for the Polestar brand, their dedication to design, and their commitment to sustainability.

    While automotive industry experience is a plus, it is not mandatory for this role. However, you must have:
    • Experience in a progressive, client-oriented retail environment
    • Experience working in retail environments with strong branded experiences, public speaking, teaching, sales, event planning, or customer care will be positively considered
    • Experience in the electric vehicle industry, the technology sector, car dealerships, drama, public speaking, education, sales, event planning, or customer service
    This role will require a valid driving licence, an acceptable safe driving record, and the ability to work weekends and events.
