    Position specifics:

    • Our growing business requires a Materials Handling Technician who is reliable, driven and a team player. If this sounds like you, then we want to hear from you!
    • This position is based at our Whangārei Branch and involves local area travel in a supplied vehicle attending the premises of our customers.
    • You will be employed on a minimum 40 hours per week basis.
    About the role:

    You will play a key role in the on-going maintenance and repair of a wide variety of vehicles on and off-site, and therefore the following attributes will be favourable:
    • Trade certificate or a minimum of 5 years’ experience servicing heavy Automotive or Material Handling Equipment.
    • Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills focusing on hydraulic and electrical.
    • Heavy traffic, Class 4 license would be favourable, but a clear current full NZ license is a must.
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to stay on task and see a job through to completion.
