KBL Civil is proud to be a leading civil construction company specializing in the complete delivery of residential and commercial projects - Including, carparks, roading, driveways, asphalt, chipseal and earthworks.
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Surfacing Supervisor to join our team.
You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily operations for our chip sealing and asphalt delivery crews. This role is crucial in ensuring that all surfacing projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in road surfacing, a strong understanding of both chip sealing and asphalt processes, and exceptional leadership skills.
To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate:- Minimum of 5 years of experience in surfacing operations, with significant experience in chip sealing and asphalt delivery.
- Proven track record of managing crews and projects in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide crews to achieve high performance standards.
- In-depth knowledge of surfacing techniques, equipment, and industry best practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications and deliver compliant work.
- Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and practices related to surfacing operations. Experience in implementing and enforcing safety measures on site.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and self driven, with the capacity to quickly address and resolve issues that arise during surfacing operations.
This is a full time position and a competitive salary package will be offered to the successful candidate and a company Ute will be provided.
