    • Are you someone with a strong HR background with recent experience of working in HR in New Zealand and can hit the ground running? Solomon Group are looking for an HR Advisor to provide advice and admin support for the Senior Leadership Team and CEO across a range of HR areas.

    The role is a 3 months fixed term contract, as we have some immediate needs, but if you are ambitious and prove to be a star you will also be well placed for the opportunity to pathway into a broader role and we will support you to develop your skills.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Recruitment; including reviewing job descriptions, developing and assisting with recruitment campaigns, conducting initial screening of candidates, reference checks and issuing employment contracts
    • Support Staff Employment Relations; providing guidance and support on employee relations issues
    • Employment Legislation; support on employment legislation advice and H&S regulations.
    Qualifications:
    • Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar role
    • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and Health & Safety regulations
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
    • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
